Renewed in Confidence

  • September 28, 2009 5:36 pm

Think back. There was a time when you moved in boldness. You had confidence to accomplish all you were called to do. Renew your courage. Don’t allow your confidence to be undermined. Be aware of your enemies: mistrust, apprehension, insecurity and doubt. Don’t listen to the words these enemies have spoken in your ear.  Renew, revive and restore your confidence. Take back the ground that has been lost and step ahead.

Proverbs 24:16 — For a just [man] falleth seven times, and riseth up again

Proverbs 14:26 — In the fear of the LORD there is strong confidence, And His children will have a place of refuge.

Joel 2:25a — And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten

Supernatural Wisdom

  • September 25, 2009 8:05 am

What would today be like if you approached every problem and situation with supernatural wisdom?

1 Corinthians 2:16 — For, “Who can know what the Lord is thinking? Who can give him counsel?” But we can understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ.

Psalm 25:4-5 – Show me the path where I should walk, O Lord; point out the right road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you.

Correct Your Focus

  • September 23, 2009 8:52 am

Nothing is ever as it first appears.  That is why it is important to lift up your eyes and look beyond your current misfortune.  As you peer into your future, you’ll see that something exciting is being produced both in you and around you.  Break-through always follows a season of oppression.  The resurrection followed the crucifixion.  Promotion is birthed out of hardship.  So correct your focus to see the full picture.

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 — For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding [and] eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen [are] temporal; but the things which are not seen [are] eternal.

Press In!

  • September 21, 2009 1:20 pm

God is giving His people opportunities to redeem times of disappointment, heartache, hardship, loss of health and loss of vitality. Turn your eyes to Him in faith.  Press in.  God will lift you up and allow you to redeem those things that have passed you by. Some have lost joy, and some have lost peace. Some have lost their way in the darkness of the world.  But you can use your faith to redeem that which has eluded you. You can live in the power of God’s kingdom.  Use your faith and retrieve that which was lost. Arise. Run the race that is before you. God has goodness prepared for you. He will restore you.  God will lift you to a higher spiritual level. Do not allow the enemy to hinder you.

Ephesians 5:15-16 — See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Hebrews 12:1 — Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Advance!

  • September 17, 2009 7:55 pm

Some are stuck in the mindset: One step forward, two steps back.  But, I believe the Lord is saying: No More!  It’s time to move ahead.  It’s time to advance.  I’m praying for those who feel like they have to ”scrap everything” and start over. I’m praying that you will see that you have, in fact, gained ground — not slipped backward. So, stop trying to go back.  Stop trying to start over.  Move ahead.  Yes… from right where you are.  Advance.  It will work!

2 Samuel 22:30 –  With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall.

Feeling Distracted?

  • September 16, 2009 8:19 am

Drive Out the Distractions

Drive out those things that keep you from truly being in fellowship with the Lord!

Mark 11:15 — Jesus entered the temple and began to drive out those who were selling and those who were buying in the temple, and he overturned the tables of
the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves.

1 Corinthians 6:19 — What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

Inside Enemy

  • September 14, 2009 11:40 am

Betrayal happens.  Mistakes get made.  People get hurt.  Without forgiveness, betrayal turns to bitterness.  Bitterness is an inside enemy.  Refuse to replay the matter in your mind.  Put it in the hand of the Lord and forgive.

Proverbs 18:19 — A brother offended is harder to win than a strong city, and contentions are like the bars of a castle.

Ephesians 4:31 — Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

Sow for Success

  • September 11, 2009 8:40 pm

Shut-down the temptation to complain about the things you feel are “not working.”  Decide now to speak words that are seeds for success, and watch God give the increase.

Galatians 6:7-10 — Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Progress Report

  • September 10, 2009 9:45 am

God has been using this season to bring change and break old patterns of behavior in you and you have been making steady progress. This adjustment has been happening three-dimensionally: spirit, soul and body. While it has seemed to sap you of strength and time, it has all been part of God’s larger plans and purposes.  In the days ahead you will feel yourself start to pull-away from the doubt, pain, and uncertainty you have felt.  You will even look back and see clearly just how much the Lord has brought you through — and rejoice!
Psalm 27:13 — I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living.

2 Corinthians 7:11 –  For observe this very thing, that you sorrowed in a godly manner: What diligence it produced in you, what clearing of yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what vehement desire, what zeal, what vindication! In all things you proved yourselves to be clear in this matter.

Use Your Words Wisely…

  • September 9, 2009 9:44 am

You have a choice.  You can use your words to bless or to curse; to build-up or to tear-down; to edify or to destroy.  Today your words can produce life or death.  It’s your choice.

Proverbs 18:21 — Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Proverbs 16:24 — Kind words are like honey–sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.

Proverbs 20:19 — A gossip betrays a confidence; so avoid a man who talks too much.
