The Time is Now!

  • October 30, 2009 8:54 am

Are you waiting for the perfect moment to move forward into the plans and purposes that God has for you?  Waiting until you have enough training, enough time, a better plan, or a bigger budget?  Stop waiting.  Stop wishing.  The time is now.  Start where you are.  Take one step toward God.  Expect Him to bless, prosper and expand things as you move ahead by faith.  Get moving!

Romans 13:11b –  Now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
2 Corinthians 6:2b – Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

Psalm 118:24 — This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Cry Out

  • October 28, 2009 9:48 am
Refuse to go through today confident in your own might.  Why settle for only what you can do in the natural, when you can cry out to a supernatural God — who is just waiting to swoop into your situation.  Let God show Himself strong in your life today!

Psalm 34:17–  The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

2 Samuel 22:4 — I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

Psalm 50:15 — And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

Psalm 61:2 — From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed:
lead me to the rock [that] is higher than I.

  • October 27, 2009 9:10 am

Let the Lord refresh you with living water.  Be revived!

Isaiah 12:3 — Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

John 4:14 – But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

Don’t Look Back

  • October 26, 2009 10:08 am

Refuse to allow regret or second thoughts to flood your mind or spirit. The things you have endured have provided an opportunity for you to be strengthened in the spirit and enabled you to rise above your situation and your emotions.  Godly order is being established. Old things must be released.  New things must be embraced.  It is a new day — don’t look back to the former ways.

Isaiah 42:18 — Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.

Isaiah 65:17 — Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.

Hag. 2:9 — ‘The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the Lord Almighty.

Back On Track

  • October 25, 2009 9:01 pm

If it seems you cannot regain your momentum or focus effectively at this time, go back to what you know to be the truth. Go back to the place (spiritually speaking) where your direction was certain.  Re-establish your clarity. Life is full of things with the potential to create doubt and confusion, but God’s word and His presence are undeniable and indisputable.

Psalm 31:3 — For thou [art] my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.

Psalms 119:105 — Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Isaiah 49:10 — They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.

Never feel defeated.  The awesome power of God on your side.  Your difficulties cannot compete with the Lord.  So, have confidence…God is with you.

Psalm 118:6 — THE LORD IS ON MY SIDE; I WILL NOT FEAR. WHAT CAN MAN DO TO ME?

Philippians 4:13 — I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME.

Luke 1:37 — FOR WITH GOD NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE.

Faith is a Fight

  • October 22, 2009 9:45 am

Life is a series of battles.  It is also a series of victories.  Develop your “spiritual muscles.”  Stay in the fight — the victory is your’s!

Proverbs 24:5 — A wise man [is] strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.

1 Timothy 6:12 — Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Proverbs 24:10 — [If] thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength [is] small.

2 Timothy 4:7 — I have fought a good fight, I have finished [my] course, I have kept the faith:

God is always open.  He never closes — not even on holidays.  You can call on the name of the Lord 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Psalm 63:6 — God, I think of you on my bed, and meditate on you in the watches of the night.
Ephesians 6:18 — Pray in the Spirit at all times in every prayer and supplication. To
that end keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints.

Proverbs 25:11 — A word fitly spoken [is like] apples of gold in pictures of silver.

Proverbs 15:23 — A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word [spoken] in due season, how good [is it]!

Isaiah 39:8 — Then said Hezekiah to Isaiah, Good [is] the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. He said moreover, For there shall be peace and truth in my days.

The Substance of Faith

  • October 18, 2009 8:00 pm

God has “measured out” a gift to each of us.  It is called, faith.  If we treasure this faith, we can add to it and watch it grow.  Faith allows us to move in the supernatural.  Faith pleases God.

Hebrews 11:1 — NOW FAITH IS THE SUBSTANCE OF THINGS HOPED FOR, THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN.

Romans 12:3 — GOD HAS DEALT TO EACH ONE A MEASURE OF FAITH.

Romans 10:17 — FAITH COMES BY HEARING, AND HEARING BY THE WORD OF GOD.

2 Corinthians 5:7 — WE WALK BY FAITH NOT BY SIGHT.

Hebrews 11:6 — WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE HIM, FOR HE WHO COMES TO GOD MUST BELIEVE THAT HE IS, AND THAT HE IS A REWARDER OF THOSE WHO DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM.
